Today nanocoating is of great interest. "Smart" textile is considered to be an important dimension of modern textile industry. It posseses suitability and has a positive impact on human health.

The educational programme trains specialists in the field of chemical technologies for textile materials finishing and textile nanotechnology. Different methods for obtaining textile materials and products are taught. The educational programe gives knowledge in "smart textile" development, nanotechnologies of fabric finishing, digital dyeing technologies, environmentally - friendly technologies for textile materials production, quality and technological processes monitoring.

Programme objectives

The graduate will be able to perform the following tasks:

  • operate technological production processes, work locations, layout planning;
  • provide engineering support, maintenance, diagnostics, service and operation of industrial production;
  • produce textile materials for various purposes;
  • produce nanocoating on different fibrous textile materials;
  • analyze scientific and technical details, advanced domestic and foreign experience in this field;
  • make out reviews, reports, and research articles;
  • adopt research and development results.

The professional graduate activity (at industrial enterprises, research and development institutions) aims to advanced technologies in textile materials production and finishing implementation. A graduate will be able to carry out professional activities in industrial enterprises and in research organizations in spheres of light industry and nanotechnology.
