Programme description

Standardization and certification play an important role in textiles quality assurance and its successful competition on world markets. A quality control analyst has special knowledge on textile materials structure and properties. He or she will be able to solve a wide range of issues of production efficiency and raw materials (semi-processed and finished products) quality improving, range and quality assurance.

The educational programme trains specialists in the field of modern textile materials control.

The educational programe gives knowledge in the fields of commodity science, nanotechnology, materials science, alternative technologies, and management.

Programme objectives

The graduate will be able to perform the following tasks:

  • develop textile products projects (threads, fabrics, knit-wear and non-woven materials);
  • manufacture semi- and finished textile products;
  • market textile goods;
  • create a demand and predict sales;
  • control the technolozical process, raw materials, semi-processed and finished textile products quality;
  • carry out standard and certification tests of textile materials and products.

Graduates professional activity

The professional graduate activity (at industrial enterprises, research and development institutions test centres) aims to textile materials and products quality inspection. A graduate will be able to carry out professional activity in industrial enterprises and research organizations engaged in the standardization, certification and quality assessment of textile.
